About Our Founder…
Hello all my name is Jay. I am a small business owner with over 25 years owning and operating small businesses. 30 years ago, I set out to launch my first small business only I had no clue where to start. I quickly learned that I needed a business plan and financial projections to get the necessary financing for my business. The only problem was I had no clue how to write a business plan or how to create financial projections. I didn’t even know how to use a spreadsheet at the time.
It took me some time but I thought myself how to use Microsoft excel to create projections and I learn how to write a business plan by reading books from the library. After some years (part time) of learning Microsoft and researching my business idea i had a beautifully crafted business plan with 5 year financial projections. The business was ultimately funded $200,000 using the business plan and financial projections I had created.
Some years later I decided to share the templates, tools as well as the knowledge that helped me launch my first business. The tools that you see on this website our those tools as well as others that inspired by my experiences as a small business owner.
